What is the different between Cache and Cookies?

An HTTP cookie (also called web cookie, Internet cookie, browser cookie, or simply cookie) is a small piece of data sent from a website and stored on the user's computer by the user's web browser while the user is browsing. Cookies were designed to be a reliable mechanism for websites to remember stateful information (such as logging in, items added in the shopping cart in an online store). When you clear the cookies of an website, you will log out automatically.

So Cache and Cookies are different, when Cache is a temporary storage that stores the website resources such as: javascripts, stylesheets (css), images, and other media data. In some cases, you will need to clear both Cache and Cookies to make the website's functions working again.
